Space, the frontier of infinity towards which our spaceship travels, our first stage is: Mars. But if we arrive at lunchtime, how are we going to sustain ourselves? All the cakes of Grandma Monique were eaten last year, after all!
This is why our robots have a very important mission for the success of our trip: prepare the ground and stock up on some food! Or more precisely, to ensure that the autonomous greenhouse already in place survives long enough for our astronauts to be able to harvest fruits and vegetables, and then survive!
The missions will be:

  1. Anticipate future crop yield.
  2. Replant the plants and put them in cultivation.
  3. Orient the solar panels so that the greenhouse does not lose energy.
  4. Ensure the pollination of plants.
  5. Return to recharge the batteries, at the end of the working day,

MAIN ROBOT: REVOLVER

The robot’s primary task is to collect plants, sort them by type, and place them in the designated areas inside or outside the competition field, depending on their category. The plant collection is carried out using a conveyor lift with toothed belts, ensuring efficient transportation. A rotating storage system adjusts its position accordingly to organize the plants into the correct compartments. Finally, the robot delivers the plants in pairs to the protected zones, completing the process with precision and automation.

In the final seconds of the match, after the plants have been placed in the protected areas, the Sima units activate, attempting to reach the plant protection zones to assist them. However, the path is filled with obstacles, and time is running out. They must navigate quickly and precisely to touch the plants before it’s too late, making every second count in this high-stakes challenge!

One of the most crucial aspects of the competition is the autonomous navigation of all our robotic vehicles. A camera mounted at the highest permissible point, combined with advanced mathematical models and recognition algorithms, allows us to precisely determine our position and direction. This system also enables us to detect opponents, locate plants, and even identify if any have fallen, ensuring efficient and intelligent decision-making throughout the match.
