The competition demands that the teams create an autonomous robot to perform tasks inspired by a show’s preparations, like preparing the stage and ensuring the promotion of a show. Our team is currently designing, building and programming a competitive robot to steal the show.

EUROBOT 2024: FARMING MARS
The challenge is hard as the robots have a very important task: to farm on Mars!
The tasks that the robots are required to perform are all inspired by farming, like planting pots or rotating a solar panel. The HMU Robotics Club’s team combined engineering, programming, and strategy to create a competitive robot, ready to take on the challenge!

CHRISTMAS ROBOTIC HELPERS v2 & CHOCOLATE 3D PRINTER
Combining technology and creativity festively and deliciously!
Our upgraded Christmas robotic helpers take holiday decorating to the next level, precisely placing ornaments while synchronized LED lights create a magical display. But the innovation doesn’t stop there! Our Chocolate 3D Printer adds a sweet twist, printing festive chocolate designs with precision layering.

WEISS BEER ROBOTIC BARTENDER
Bringing the future of bartending to life!
Designed by the HMU Robotics Club, this fully automated system uses two robotic arms to serve the perfect Weiss beer with precision and flair. One arm expertly grips and opens the bottle, while the other tilts the glass at the right angle to avoid excessive foam. A built-in water rinser ensures the glass is prepped before the pouring, and a final flourish adds the perfect foam layer.
With a stunning wooden bar setup and smooth, calculated movements, this project showcases how robotics can revolutionize even the art of beer serving!
LIGHTSABER DUEL
Bringing an epic sci-fi battle to life—robotics style!
Two robotic arms, armed with glowing lightsabers, engage in a choreographed duel inspired by the legendary battles of the Star Wars universe. Each arm is programmed to perform dynamic attack and defense moves, while the lightsabers change color mid-battle, creating a mesmerizing lighting effect. While the battle may look intense, don’t worry—these robots are too valuable to allow them to destroy each other!
Witness the fusion of robotics, creativity, and cinematic action in this one-of-a-kind lightsaber duel!
CHRISTMAS ROBOTIC HELPERS
Bringing the holiday spirit to life with automation and precision!
The HMU Robotics Club created robotic arms that decorate a Christmas tree with festive ornaments, blending technology with tradition. If you want to place an ornament onto our straight-from-the-future tree, all you have to do is select an ornament, place it in the right spot and trigger the sensor by waving your hand above it. Our robotic arms will do the rest, adding a little dance to their job, a spectacle worth watching! Of course, Christmas lights could not be excluded from the party. Pre-programmed LED lights accompany the decoration process, creating a mesmerizing display.
